Shon Mapp is a Bajan writer and artist who explores immigrant identities, kinship, and lesbian intimacy. Her poems have been published in various indie literary magazines including: Stanchion, Neologism, Fourteen Poems, HAD, Cathexis Northwest Press, and others .
She has a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Virginia Tech and a MBA from University of Maryland. In addition to creative writing, she works as a freelance technical writer and editor for small businesses and individuals.
She currently spends her time between Italy and Barbados
